Three Views of Country explores the Australian landscape through three shifting perspectives, each connected by the familiar rural fence line.
Layered earth tones, weathered surfaces and tactile marks move across the work, creating three distinct passages through open country. Fence posts emerge and recede through each landscape, tracing distance and human presence across the land.
Built through layers of earth-derived and unconventional materials, the surfaces are applied, scraped and manipulated to echo the rawness and changing character of the Australian interior.
